Message:    Previously, Teams users needed to manually open the “Show conversation” chat panel/window to view the chat during a Teams meeting.  Now, Chat Bubbles will appear on the screens of meeting participants. 

This is an example of a Chat Bubble displayed on a Teams Meeting screen.

Chat bubbles will be turned on by default.  However, if you have the Show conversation chat window/panel open during the meeting, the chat bubbles will not display.  You will see the chat within the Show conversation window/panel.   

Users that do not desire to see the chat bubbles will need to navigate to the meeting ellipsis and select “Don’t show chat bubbles”. 

Select the ellispe from the meeting icon panel and choose "Don't show chat bubbles."
