01/28/2022: Unsafe File Types Blocked in Outlook Messages | ||

Beginning January 28, 2022: Outlook message attachments will be scanned for unsafe file types. View the list of unsafe/blocked file types here: https://office365.delaware.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/135/2022/01/File-Types-Blocked-in.pdf. When an Outlook message contains a file type on the unsafe-blocked list, you will receive an email from “DoNotReply_BlockedEmailNotifice@delaware.gov” stating the message will not be delivered (*example of the email below). When there is a business need to message a file identified on the unsafe-blocked list, you should use Egress encryption. Visit How Do I? – Department of Technology & Information (DTI) – State of Delaware webpage for instruction regarding the use of Egress. |
