Beginning January 28, 2022:  Outlook message attachments will be scanned for unsafe file types. View the list of unsafe/blocked file types here: https://office365.delaware.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/135/2022/01/File-Types-Blocked-in.pdf.

When an Outlook message contains a file type on the unsafe-blocked list, you will receive an email from “DoNotReply_BlockedEmailNotifice@delaware.gov” stating the message will not be delivered (*example of the email below).

When there is a business need to message a file identified on the unsafe-blocked list, you should use Egress encryption. Visit How Do I? – Department of Technology & Information (DTI) – State of Delaware webpage for instruction regarding the use of Egress.

From: DoNotReply_BlockedEmailNotice@delaware.gov

Subject: Unsafe-Blocked file type detected in outgoing message

Message: An unsafe-blocked file type was detected in a message you recently sent. The message was not delivered. If you are certain the file is not malicious you may resend the message using Egress encryption. For instructions on the use of Egress, visit How Do I? – Department of Technology & Information (DTI) – State of Delaware and review the Egress links provided.

Do not “Reply” to this message as the “DoNotReply_BlockedEmailNotice@delaware.gov” is an unmonitored mail resource account.
