Classic Microsoft Teams End of Support and Availability (GCC): Microsoft Classic Teams will reach the end of support for GCC users on August 15, 2024, and end of availability on July 1, 2025. | ||
| ALERT: | If you are still using Classic Teams, starting August 15, 2024, you will begin receiving in-app pop-up messages informing you that it is no longer supported. The pop-up message (see the example below) can be dismissed but will reappear periodically until your device is updated with the New Teams client.
Classic Teams will no longer be available after July 1, 2025 (see the pop-up example below). Prior to that date, your device will need to be updated, or you will need to access Teams on the web.

On April 1, 2024, the New Teams client became the default client for all active Teams users. However, some devices may not have been updated due to compatibility issues.
If you are still using the Classic Teams client, you will soon start receiving an in-app pop-up message. Please contact your agency’s IT support team for assistance.
